About Yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice that combines physical postures (movements) with breathing techniques. Believed to have originated in India, yoga is now practiced by many all over the world (and here at Beyond Wellness Chiropractic.)
Yoga allows students to connect with their body-mind which is the relationship between the human body and the mind also known as: Mind, Body & Spirit.
Yoga has many physical and mental benefits, including:

- reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain

Our teachers are trained in hatha and vinyasa yoga.
Hatha yoga focuses on the breath, while moving slowly with controlled movements.
Vinyasa yoga focuses on connecting the breath to movements which is set at a faster pace and flow.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a safe, comfortable environment sharing the wisdom of yoga, meditation, and higher health. Students practicing yoga at Beyond Wellness Chiropractic are able to explore their personal yoga practice and self-transformation in a peaceful, non-judgmental space.
Our goal is to empower students guiding them to higher health and wellness both on and off the mat. It is our hope that we can unify our neighbouring communities offering a space which inspires healing beyond the physical- promoting growth within the Mind, Body & Spirit.
